Wednesday, February 28th
The Crossroads Project presents Rising Tide, a performance grounded in science and elevated by music and art. The is no need for registration. The performance is FREE. Must be 8 years old or older to attend. Join us at the Peery’s Egyptian Theater. Doors open at 6:15, performance at 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 1st
The Summit hosts keynote Naomi Oreskes, the Eco Expo Hall, the Student Poster Contest and over 20 sessions. Sessions are focused into five tracks:

  • Green Buildings
  • Clean Energy Infrastructure
  • Urban Water
  • Sustainability
  • Engaged Conversations




Friday, March 2nd
Affiliated workshops are offered. Workshops include:

  • Let’s Talk Climate – Applied Research and Practical Guidance for Local Climate Engagement
  • Taking Advantage of Who You Are – Climate Change Communication for Non-Scientists, Scientists, and Everyone in Between
  • Demystifying Carbon Neutrality – Charting a Path for Building and Campus Managers
  • LEED Green Associate Exam Prep

If you require financial assistance in order to attend the Intermountain Sustainability Summit you can apply for an ISS scholarship. Note: A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to those with limited funds. Please contact about individual Summit scholarships before February 22.
